San Andreas, Ca -- Effective this morning at 8am, burn permits will be required within the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras jurisdiction.
Burn hours will be limited to 7pm to 8am on permissive burn days as declared by the Air Pollution Control District. If the current dry conditions continue, CAL Fire officials say a complete ban on burning will likely go into effect by May 12th. Written by bjhansen@mlode.com
