Jackson circa 1905

This post card view of Jackson was taken sometime in the 1900s. The camera lens points south east. Power poles came in the late 1890's and early 1900s, and a paved Main was still years away at Main's foot is the National Hotel, still just two stories. Note the barber pole right. There's has been a barber there for a century or more.
