The question is: Did instructor George F. Heindel or one of his cadet students take this marvelous time exposure of one cadet taking a portrait of a fellow cadet in the Preston School of Industry? It is very well done, whoever took it. This photo - among many, taken by the cadets - appeared in a Preston publication called "Vocational Activities at Preston School of Industry, August, 1923." Upon being committed to Preston, each cadet had his photo taken by either Heindel or a cadet photography student. We wonder where all those images are today - at Preston, transferred long ago to the state archives, or destroyed?
