Department of Agriculture: Approval of a resolution approving the agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture relative to weed surveillance and removal of “A” rated weeds and authorize Chairman to sign the agreement. B. Auditor-Controller: Approval of a resolution establishing the 2008-09 Fiscal Year Appropriations Limit. C. General Services Administration: Approval of a resolution declaring certain County property as surplus property. D. General Services Administration: Approval of a resolution accepting Department of Transportation Division of Aeronautics grant offer in the amount of $3,750.00 and approving grant agreement for an environmental assessment study for various construction projects. E. General Services Administration: Approval of a resolution accepting the Winterization Measures at the Buena Vista Landfill by Doug Veerkamp General Engineering as complete and authorize the GSA Director to sign and record a Notice of Completion and authorize the Chairman to sign the Agreement and Release of Claims forms and authorize the GSA Director to release retention and final payment to contractor. 4. AGREEMENTS A. Administration: Approval of an agreement for special services with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, a specialist in employment and labor law, to advise the county. B. General Services Administration: Approval of Gold Maintenance Agreement with ThyssenKrupp Elevator for preventative maintenance program and service calls for the elevator in the County Administration Center (CAC). C. General Services Administration: Approval of awarding Bid No. 08-35 to Amador Mechanical Inc., Plymouth, CA in the amount of $13,400.00 for the 2008 Storm Water Program – Buena Vista Landfill for the Public Works Department and approval of Construction Contract. D. Health and Human Services / Behavioral Health: Approval of an agreement with Staff Care, Inc. to provide independent services for temporary psychiatric coverage through the use of locum tenens for Amador county Behavioral Health clients. E. Health and Human Services / Behavioral Health: Approval of a Field Placement Agreement with California State University, Sacramento for a field experience training program in Social Work. F. Health and Human Services / Behavioral Health: Approval of an agreement with El Dorado County Department of Mental Health to provide psychiatric inpatient hospital care and maintenance for mentally disordered persons. Health and Human Services / Behavioral Health: Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Amador County Office of Education for the purpose of transferring the Federal IDEA grant funds to be used exclusively for the purpose of funding mental health services for fiscal year 2008-09. Human Resources Department: Approval of Chairman’s signature on The Hartford’s Group Retiree Health Plan Group Application Form, authorizing The Hartford to handle the health insurance coverage for Amador County retirees over the age of 65, as approved on September 23, 2008. J. Public Works Agency: Approval of a professional consultant services agreement with Drake, Haglan & Associates, Inc. to assist with the Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP). 5. ORDINANCES A. Department of Agriculture: Approval of a resolution approving the adoption of an ordinance adding a new chapter to the Amador County Code – Chapter 3.38 registration requirements for agricultural and structural pest control businesses. 6. Commission on Aging: Approval of the appointment of Ms. Deanna Ding to the subject commission as a member from District II for a term of three years, effective 10/21/08. B. Commission on Aging: Approval of the appointment of Ms. Danise Kaps to the subject commission as a member from District I for a term of three years, effective 10/21/08. C.
