This is in reference to the late bus route offered by the Amador Regional Transit System. I just want to thank General Manager Patrick Ireland and all that are involved in his office for helping all the parents out there who are in desperate need of this late pick-up. Things are getting really tough out there and every little bit counts, and this so happens to be a big deal to a lot of us parents.
Before the bus route happened, upcountry parents could be seen going down the hill in a straight line to pick up their children at Amador High, and we would follow each other back up the hill. It seemed so very silly and expensive. So I want to personally thank the ARTS team for all they're doing. They are making a great difference in the community.
