On the afternoon of April 9, my husband and I were at the Jackson Rancheria. Unfortunately, after about an hour my husband suffered a heart attack. The response of the EMTs at the rancheria was amazing, and I am very thankful for their intervention before the ambulance arrived. I want to thank each of them from the bottom of my heart. My heartfelt thanks also goes to the emergency room staff at Sutter Amador Hospital for getting him stable enough for the trip to Sacramento. We will celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary on May 7 and I owe that, in part, to each and everyone of you.
