No 'we' in this 'I' Friday, January 30, 2009 - Bob Currall, Upcountry Community Council co-chair I wish to address the latest article about Sherry Curtis statements (Jan. 23, "Authorities say child's alleged death near school never happened"). Sherry has taken on being head of the Upcountry Community Council Highway 88 Safety Committee. This UCC committee listens to concerns from upcountry residents about safety along this stretch of highway and presents those to the appropriate authorities that might be able to help in solving them. In her recent TV interview and the following article written by Scott Anderson, I have to say that some of her feelings expressed were not the position of the Upcountry Community Council, especially those concerning Mr. Bowman's development and the alleged death of a student attending school in Pine Grove. Sometimes a person's personal views get presented as "we" instead of "I." This note is just to set the record straight.
