It has been said, "The most dangerous element in society is ignorance." That came out loud and clear in Andy Rodriguez's April 29 guest commentary attacking District 1 supervisor candidate Ken Berry ("The chutzpah candidate"). Shame on you Andy, fabricating facts to support your own misleading statements.
Andy claimed he was not there when the decision to downsize Kennedy Meadows was made. Check the record, Andy.
On Sept. 23, 2002, the city council passed the resolution approving 78 units for Kennedy Meadows. On Jan. 13, 2002, you seconded the motion passing the resolution to reduce the Kennedy Meadows units from 78 to 56.
Friends of Jackson never opposed the affordable units at Kennedy Meadows. We did oppose giving millions of tax funds to an out-of-state developer.
Oh, what a wicked web we weave when first we practice to deceive.
