We are pleased to see John Plasse announce his candidacy for supervisor of District 1.
We have known John all his life, and he has the qualifications for the office. He is entering the race not to be a politician, but to take a leadership role in serving and representing his valued constituents in a competent, sincere and fair manner. One of his many strong points is that he leaves no stone unturned in evaluating any problem that may arise. There are no loose ends left dangling with John. Another plus is that he will listen and give you his undivided attention.
The lack of business opportunities in this area prompted John to leave Jackson, as others have, to attend college, earn a degree and open a business in Sacramento and Folsom. But John never forgot his roots or his beloved Amador County and, as soon as possible, he returned home to raise his family and commuted to his Folsom business. Such was his love for the historic Plasse Ranch and the area of his birth.
John is an astute businessman and demands accountability in all facets of business. He has no tolerance for slip-shod, half-baked plans or enterprises.
We are proud to give him our support.
