1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA. Approval of agenda for this date; any and all off-agenda items 
must be approved by the City Council (pursuant to §54954.2 of the Government Code.) 

 

2. PUBLIC MATTERS NOT ON THE AGENDA. Discussion items only, no action will be 
taken. Any person may address the Council at this time on any subject within the jurisdiction of 
the City Council. Please note - there is a five (5) minute limit. 

 

3. CONSENT CALENDAR. Items listed on the consent calendar are considered routine and 
may be enacted by one motion. Any item may be removed for discussion at the request of a 
Council member. 

 

a. Approval of Minutes of May 11, 2009 meeting. 


b. Approval of Expenditure Report for May in the amount of $ 175,009.93. 


c. Accept April 2009 Treasurer’s Report and Sales Tax Report. 


d. Receive Jackson Fire Department Monthly Report for April 2009. 


e. Adopt Resolution Providing Disaster Workers with Workers’ Compensation Coverage. 


f. Approve Request from SIR Amador Branch 96 for Permission to Serve Alcohol at their 
Picnic at Detert Park on August 6, 2009. 


g. Approve Request from Jackson Lions Club for Use of Detert Park Parking Lot area for 
Fireworks Sales, June 28 to July 4, 2009. 


h. Approve Special Event Permit – Jackson Lions Club Fireworks Show, July 3, 2009. 




 

4. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS. This section is to provide staff an opportunity to present 
oral status reports on issues. No action is expected to be taken by the Council. 

 

5. COUNCIL REPORTS. This section is to provide Council members an opportunity to 
present reports on their activities and to request items be placed on future agendas. 

 

DISCUSSION CALENDAR 

 

6. Review of “Notice of Intent to Develop” Application(s) for Resource Constraints and 
Priority Allocation Policy. Review recommendation of Planning Commission and 
determine Council action. 




 


7. Preliminary Budget Review and Proposed Resolution Finding a Severe Fiscal 
Hardship if Additional City Property Tax Funds are Seized by the State. Review and 
determine Council action. 




 

8. Contract for Wastewater Facilities Planning and Design. Review and determine 
Council action. 




 

9. Review Request from Amador County Recreation Agency for Per Capita Funding 
Commitment for FY 2009/2010. Review and determine Council action. 




 

10. Planning Commission and Cemetery Committee – Notice of Application Period. 
Announce a deadline of June 17, 2008 for these advisory bodies.
