Organizers have moved the event to St. Sava’s Mission and have cut ticket prices in half. For $50 per person, attendees will be treated to a hearty buckboard buffet dinner of barbecue tri-tip and chicken, green salad, ranch beans, chuckwagon corn, garlic bread and fruit cobbler served with area wines. Tasha Burkett will help you freshen up your line dance skills and Judge Dave Richmond will impart a little old West wisdom with his cowboy poetry. Country band Fire on the Mountain will be playing dance tunes until 11 p.m. Jeans & Glitter will feature a $400, $600, $1,000 cash prize drawing, along with a silent auction. This year’s event will serve as a fundraiser for the hospital’s Emergency Department expansion. Organizers hope to raise $40,000 from this event to help pay for some high-tech equipment for doctors and nurses to use in the new space. Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $5,000. Sponsors will be listed in the evening’s program. For more information call 257-7617 or e-mail chavoel@sutterhealth.org. Comment (No comments posted.)
