STOCKTON - Police are looking for two male suspects in a failed kidnapping attempt Monday night at Sherwood Mall.

According to police, a 13-year-old girl was walking in the mall with two female cousins when one of the suspects started following them. Eventually, the girls left the mall and started running, but were caught by the suspect.

A black Cadillac pulled up, and the driver called to the suspect to put the girl in the car. The girl hit the suspect, and after a passer-by arrived to help, the suspects fled.

Police said the first suspect was a 30-year-old male. The driver of the car was wearing a black mask, according to police.
