                  16,496 Marijuana Plants Eradicated Near Basin Creek

                  Tuolumne, Ca -- The Tuolumne Narcotics Team continues to 
                  locate some major marijuana grows in isolated areas of the 
                  county.
                  On Thursday, 16,496 plants were found in the Basin Creek area 
                  off of Buchanan Mine Rd. No suspects were located in the area, 
                  but evidence leads investigators to believe that the growers 
                  were in the garden as early as Thursday morning. Since July 
                  1st, TNT has eradicated 84,538 marijuana plants.
