Sheriff's office hunting for stolen items

The Amador County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home burglary that took place on Chase Road in Jackson, between Niles and Ridge roads, Dec. 17.

The crime occurred sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. Multiple personal items were stolen, including cash, five laptop computers and a Costco Cannon safe. Anyone in the public who has information about this crime or the stolen items in question is asked to call Detective Ray Marchant at 223-6784, or Lt. Drew Stidger at 223-6500.
